I was on Depo-Prevera(theshot) a while back, and 1 side effect was I had painless spasms in my uterus that felt similar to a 3-4 month old fetus feels like moving around, but I know I'm not pregnant. I'm off Depo, and they went away for a while, but, now have returned. Has anyone out there had a similar feeling? Should I be concerned enough to go to the doctor?

The same thing has been happening to me. I got off Depo about 5 months ago. Since then I have taken 4 pregnancy test. Maybe its one off the effects of starting and stopping the shot. When you find the answer please email me
Sounds like it to me, but I have no idea what Depo-Prevera is nor how it might be contributing to your "spasms" and whether or not to consider that normal. I think you really should seek medical advice from the Doctor who prescribed the drug for you. Good luck and God bless.
i was on the depo too and i had spasms but i never connected it to the depo. i have spasms now too and not on the depo, a few times i actually had to take a pregnancy test just to make sure i wasn't pregnant. its really weird but im sure its perfectly normal and if its not and you decide to get checked out let me know what it is too.
