Has anyone else ever had irregular periods like skipping montyhs and if so does that cause infertility?
Answer:
It could, but it doesn't have to. For example, I have PCOS, which can cause irregular periods or no periods at all (my problem). I'm trying to get pregnant, and my doctor gave me clomid so I will ovulate. It actually worked once already, but I had an early miscarriage (early miscarriages are pretty common).
There are lots of reasons for irregular periods, some worse than others. Only your doctor can tell you for sure why your cycle is irregular and what your chances of getting pregnant are.
not fertillity i havint had mine since dec 31 2006 i know i mm lucky but i no im not preg
no it doesn't cause infertility
If you have a disorder maybe...but typically not
That is usually the first sign of infertility. But it doesn't cause it, it could just be a side effect of the underlying problem. Also many women have irregular periods and no problem getting pregnant. And you might be surprised it could be caused by something simple like a light left on at night. (Don't know why but that can make your periods crazy!) I suggest you read Women's body women's wisdom. Good book it cleared a lot of questions up for me. Sorry I can't remember the author but the book is thick and purple. Good luck!
no infertility! and yes irregular periods are normal with stress changes, birth control changes, weight changes, activity changes and so on. just about anything can change your cycle, try using the pill, it is a sure fire way to regulate whats going to happen everymonth.. good luck
Yes I have had my period skip for several months and then I would have one sometimes it would be heavy and sometimes it would seem like it was barely there. I have had two sons which we thought I might not be able to have because of my periods being irregular.
