Hi, I'm 23 and have had a few fibroadenoma lumps in my breast since I was 19. I've never had any reason to have them removed. I keep an eye on any changes and have them checked yearly by my GYN. I am not experiencing anything like you are....with the fear and not being able to eat or sleep well. Does your doctor know about this?

I think it's good to be concerned about the lumps, but....panic? No. Lots of women have lumpy breasts and never develop breast cancer. The fact that you're crying every day and are unable to live like you normally would sounds like perhaps you have underlying issues. Talk to your doctor about this---he/she can refer you to a counselor. You shouldn't have to live like this.
Crying is not going to make you better.
Just doing a search I found a few hundred sites about fibroadenoma and they are benign lumps. You need to research about this event and realize that its not unusual and you need not fret over it .. the more information you read the more you empower yourself. The percentage is very small of it ever being malignent. Unless you have this occuring in your family I wouldn't go into panic mode. We all have to die of something someday but odds are higher you will die in a traffic accident or in bed from old age.
yeah you can have recurrent fibroadenoma. but don't worry it is not malignant and it is rare.
