My cycles are usually 43 days. This month I started on the 41st day. Sorry for all the details I'm about to type about. I started Monday, but it wasn't as heavy as usual (usually I use up to 6 pads on the first day). Then on Tuesday I used only two pads. Wednesday and Thursday I used one panty liner each day, and the blood turned brown. Today I haven't had to use a pad and there's only brown blood when I wipe. I also have had headaches the past two nights and I've been nausiated the past week. I've also had tender breasts on and off for a little over 2 weeks now. What can be causing this? Then pregnancy test was negative on Friday of last week.

I agree with kbeauty. To have your periods that far apart is not that common. What you are experiencing is spotting as your body does not have the correct level of hormones to make its mind up about whether to have them or not. This is the symptoms I had before I was diagnose with poly cyctic ovaries. Get to the doc ask for a blood test and possible unltrasound to check for cyst or anything else they look for. Treatment should be quite simple. The headaches you are getting are because your hormone levels are probably too low/high. Good luck, hope I helped.
