i havn't had my period yet im under 12 and there is this white dry stuff in my undies. what is it?

Hey! I know what you are going through! I was so scared about when I would start my period. Anyway, before you actually start your period, your other female parts have to finish maturing. Most girls will have a clear or white discharge for some time (different for different girls...some have it for a few weeks or months. As far as it being "stinky", a little bit is normal....your nose just isn't used to it yet, and it is a little stronger smelling in girls before they start their period. If it smells worse or gets heavier and you are having other symptoms down there, let your mom know. Often the discharge will kinda have its own cycle, just like your period will when you do start). If you also have grown hair "down there" and you are having this discharge, it sounds like your body is almost ready! You might want to talk to your mom or a trusted adult female friend and get some supplies. That way, if you start for the first time at school, you will have something and won't be in an embarrasing situation. Oh, one more thing...I suggest starting out with pads, not tampons. They are fine for later on, but your flow will be irregular at first, so just stick with the pads! I prefer the thin ones with "wings". Good luck!
It's just a discharge we all get it.
Stinky dosent sound good, I really think you should tell your mum, it could be thrush or an infection either of which can produce an offensive discharge and both of which are possible even if you are 12.
