Help again please?

hello, i posted a problem about 3 weeks ago about a cyst that has grown 11cm on my ovaries, hospital sent me home and said they would contact me in a month about the cyst to see if had gone as it had burst!, since then i have bled lots! i was on my periods 6 times in Feb and now again in March just wanted to know if this had anything with the cyst coming out of me?
Answer:
It's not normal.
I had a large orange sized cyst on my ovaries burst whilst 3 months pregnant.
I had no bleeding whatsoever, just some discomfort when it happened.
You really need to see your doctor, as that amount of blood loss can be really dangerous. It plays havoc with your iron levels.. that can ultimately be life threatening.
During puberty I had cysts that were the size of grapefruits.
I felt major pain when they popped, there was no change in my menstrual cycle.
I would suggest you make an appointment with a specialist, your bleeding all month long is not normal.
Good Luck.
first off you need to see your Dr ASAP!!! When a cyst burst you shouldn't bleed like that. If you don't think your Dr is telling you the right info than you need to see another Dr but get it taken care of fast...all bleeding can turn into more problems

Hello please answer!!!?

Why do i have lines under my eyes!! im 13! how do i get rid of them!
Answer:
It's certainly important to sleep more as 8 hours sleep is the normal requirement. However, sometimes you can end up being more tired if you sleep too much. Even if you do have enough sleep, i believe its better to sleep early and so you don't end up waking up very late in the afternoon.

Eating more fruits are also very good for you. I've heard that Mangoes and Watermelon are very good for your skin. With watermelons, you can rub the leftover on the skin on your face and that may help reduce the lines under your eyes. It can also help moisterize skin even if it's not dry. Hope you find this useful.
SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Because you're human and that happens? Are you a big'un? Got lots of extra flesh? Not sleeping? Do you parents have lines? Is it just dirt in need of a good washin'?
Take vitamins, eat more fruits and vegetables and make sure that you get 8 hours of sleep.
Go to sleep earlier. Children should get between 8-10 hours of sleep a night for good health.
Apply warm teabags under your eyes for 15-20 minutes then remove and wash your face with warm water. This gets rid of bags and eye circles.
Also, drink lots of fruit and veg to flush your system out and keep your skin fresh also gentle exercise always makes you have fresh skin
first and best is at least 8 hours sleep. and not just once... then of course you can let other peoples opinion bully you into buying expensive anti- wrinkling cream or something... I think old people are often beautiful because of the lines in their face, Lady, trust me; if your eyes are not falling out, then you are probably beautiful and the lines under your eyes make you You!!! I advise you to look closely at other peoples faces... all different... all kinds of lines...
"josephine y" is right on. As far as sleep, the "type" of sleep you get is as important as how much or how little you get. If you sleep for 10 hrs, but wake up frequently or toss and turn most of the time, then the quality of the sleep is greatly diminished. If you sleep for 6-7 hours, and you are sound asleep, no tossing/turning/waking up, then that will be equal to getting the suggested amount of sleep.

The best way to tell if your sleep is high-quality or not is by answering a few Q's: How you feel when you wake up...do you feel "refreshed" and wide awake? When you go to bed, are you truly ready to fall asleep? Do you fall asleep quickly? If the answer to these Q's is "yes", then your getting quality sleep. However, if the following is true: Do you feel still tired or groggy? Do you snore loudly when your asleep (snoring is linked to poor sleep)? Does it seem to take you "forever" to fall asleep? then your sleep quality is poor.

The body is better able to replenish itself when its had adequate rest, not only will the lines diminish or disappear, but you will feel happier, be more alert, have more energy, and in general, be healthier.

Hello I seem to have a problem?

I am a girl but I seem to have a little extra equipment in a certain area do you know what is wrong with me?
Answer:
You're a freak and you're doomed to live a life where the only person who will do you is yourself

(yes, I'm KIDDING)
If you honestly had this problem, you would be very aware of what this is because you'd have to manage it since birth. Besides, your parents probably would've had procedures done to remove the extra. Don't waste people's time.
Sounds like too much junk in the trunk.
its impossible to say with so little detail, go see a doctor, and soon!

Heellllpppppp i need an urgent answer?

it`s my first time to use a contrceptive pill.i was advised to stop in the 2nd week for pill break and it`s my 4th day of the pill break when my period turned up again today!what should i do?just follow the instruction and not panic?cnt go to my obgyne she`s too expensive so......

or should i take the pill now i mean the break ones?
Answer:
a lot of women have spotting when they start the pill. Keep taking them and follow the doctor's directions. If anything comes up that concerns or confuses you, however, be sure to call your doctor, that's what s/he is there for!
keep taking it that's normal
it's normal when using the pill that you bleed in the pill break or while you are taking the hormone free pills(also called sugar pill or placebo pill). it usually the second up to the 7th day during the break you started bleeding, so it's quite normal that you bleed on the 4th day. i always started bleeding on my 4th or 5th day of my placebo pills. just continue taking your pills, follow the instructions with your pill.

Heavy Periods?

i usually get warning that my period is on its way this month it just suddenly appeared and it is very heavy and painful any ideas why the change all of a sudden? I have polysystic ovary syndrome.
Answer:
I have pcos aswell and I used to suffer with this a lot when I was a lot heavier. I also got terrible mood swings
This is because of the hormonal imbalance that is associated with pcos and the cysts can also cause pain as it makes the symptoms worse.
If you are overweight it it might make this happen more often.
I have since lost weight over the last year and my periods are now less painfull and a lot lighter. The mood swings have got better aswell.
You might find the next period is different as this used to happen aswell but mostly I was really suffering each time that they did arive and I couldn't do my normal daily things.
I'm now more able to get on with things now that they are lighter and less painfull.
If you are worried go and have a word with your gp and he could give you something to ease the symptoms
it could be a number of things... one you could have had a cycst rupture or you could have been pregnant and not known about it and had a misscariage .... none the less you need to go see your doctor right away if this has never happened before.
Hi Julia,
Don't worry luv, u might be surprised to find what stress can do alone. Also keep an eye on fluid intake especially around this time and try taking supplements like fish oils as they help with state of mind during this time we all feel quite down and depressed during or b4 periods and I have found this really helps me.Go to your GP.xx

Heavy Period :/ any helpful suggestions?

ok so my period started when I was in 5th grade and I'm in 7th grade now. it was SO heavy when it started and still is now. i thought that it was supposed to get better after a couple years but I've sensed no improvement. It's so embarrassing. I'm always afraid I'm going to "leak" in public. Many of the girls in my class haven't had there "wonderful" monthly experience so it freaks them out a lot so there's no way i could ask their advice. Even so, like I said before it's just embarrassing. Is it still early for me to be hoping for things to naturally lighten up? Is the solution just to wait it out for a few more years and just hope for the best?
Answer:
There are many reasons for heavy periods and they can be difficult to deal with. Tell your mom about the problem. You are a little young to go on the pill and your own hormones still need to settle down. But it might be a good idea to see the doctor to find out if there is a physical problem that can be easily fixed.

In the mean time don't take asprin or advil. These thin your blood a bit and can make periods longer and heavier.

Wear a tampon with a pad to prevent the likelihood of leaks. Always change the tampon frequently and use the least absorbent one you can (to avoid toxic shock syndrome). Many brands sell a box with a range of absorbencies now so you can better match your flow.

I've been there, 10 day periods with 2 days of bad cramps and 5 days of heavy flow. You can manage. It does get better but it may be a while. That is why you should talk to a doc.

Also find out how your mom's periods were. We tend to have patterns that are similar to our mother's periods. That may give you some idea what to expect.

Good Luck
Go see an OB/GYN and ask his/her sugg. They will probably suggest birth control pills which form experience work well with lightening heavy periods.
I had the same problem, I started my period a lot earlier than other girls. They were really heavy and very painful, and over the years they didn't seem to be getting any better. Now, however, my periods are MUCH less painful and are considerably lighter. So I'd say just hang on in there for a couple more years, and hopefully they will get better!
maybe your underweight, but im no doctor, so go see a doctor and tell them what u put on here maybe not all of it but u get the idea
Talk to your school nurse, Mom or gynecologist. Heavy periods that bad may indicate a problem. These people can direct you which way to go.
Ok. I was 13 years old when I started my period. It started getting heavy around the 2nd or 3rd day. Now I am 21, when I was 15 I went to see a doctor and i found out I had polycystic ovarian disease. (AKA Cysts on your ovaries) They put me on birth control and it made my cysts go away and my periods about 4 days long and made my periods much lighter. But seriously, go see a doctor or a gynecologist. He will be able to help you. I hope this helps and good luck!!!
dont worry....everyone has their time....it will surely lighten up!!

Heat rash???

How does one shave the bikini area and not end up with bumps?
I have tried a few things and am curious if anyone can give me some good ideas?
Answer:
STEP ONE. Don't even try to remove pubic hair with just a razor. You need to clip it first, using a pair of sharp scissors. Make sure you remove as much hair as possible with the scissors. If you don't you won't be shaving but only pulling out the longer hairs during the actual shaving, which is painful and quickly blunts your razor. That again will make the shaving process more painful and less effective.

Buy Emac. It doesn't cause that ichy feeling or bring up the bumps.

Or STEP TWO. After the hair has been cropped as much as possible you need to prepare for shaving. In order to both achieve a very close shave - i.e. a smooth surface - and prevent pimples and irritated skin later, you'll do well to prepare yourself before you shave.
The best idea - if you have a tub - is to take a long hot bath now and make sure the area - and the hair - is soft and smooth. Your next best option is a hot shower with a lot of attention for the soon-to-be shaved area. The more water you use, the better. After bathing or showering, dry yourself, including the area and wait a few minutes in order to allow the skin to recuperate a bit.

STEP THREE. GENEROUSLY apply shaving cream. Resort to the mildest - non-perfumed ones. Don't even try just using soap (as is customary in many medical environments. It is a totally unsuitable method for any genital shaving).
As you can see, you need to prepare - and probably do some dedicated shopping prior to the first shave. That goes for the razor you're planning to use as well. Warning: appealing or not, the old fashioned switch-blade razor is totally unsuitable for genital shaving and in fact dangerous. The same goes for disposable razors. What you need is safety razor, designed for female use. The Wilkinson Sword female razor is your best choice by miles. Not only is the design tailored to the curves on the female body (and the grip tailored to use in a "wet" environment. Also the blades itself are protected by thin steel wires, which will make it next to impossible to cut yourself.

Pull the skin straight with your free hand and shave without applying pressure. Move the razor slowly over the skin, preferably in the counter-direction of the hair. Just one pass probably will not do the trick. You may want to shave the same area two or three times before it is totally smooth. Keep applying shaving cream, as much as you can and have some alum readily available, just in case you draw a little blood.

STEP FOUR. When the shaving is done again wash generously with a lot of warm water. Make sure you wash all the hair and soap away.

STEP FIVE. No you're not there yet - you need aftercare. Soft baby oil will do wonders if you want to keep your skin smooth and soft and prevent pimples from coming up. If you have tender skin, aloe vera cream (preferably with Vitamin E added to it) or a dedicated aftercare product (for women - male aftershave usually bites terribly and will only make things worse). Once shaved, make it habit to protect your now shaven mons and labia (outside) with creams or baby oil.
Shave the area every time you shave your legs.. The more you shave and toughen the area the less you will get bumps. This is from my experience only.
this site should tell you everything :D

Health????????????????

ok. im 12, and my boobs have like all these little pimples on them now !!! its GROSS !! ! ! please, wat is it?
Answer:
Clean around the area with an ati-septic solution and change your bra regularly.

Do not squeeze these bumps. They are likely normal. They are probably secreting sebum (oil) from glands of the nipple/areola skin. You will infect them if you squeeze them. If they become reddened or painful, you should have them checked for infection.
yes put some antiseptic or alchohal on them, do not irritate them, they will only get worse....hey i had it too.......

Health Question?

yea sounds like a virus or a bug... just rest and it should pass, if it gets worse definetly call a doctor

Health Problem here!?

I haven't eaten since saturday, but everytime i eat my stomach hurts really bad.........
i have hypoglosema if u get what i mean, and it's really bad if i don't eat because of what i have.......
so please someone tell me y i can't eat.

I'm only 14, and this is the first time it has happened to me
Answer:
With being hypoglycemic, you know how important it is for you to eat. Have you talked to your parents yet? I would ask My Parents to make an appt with your Dr. It is imperative that you keep your sugar levels on an even keel. There are many reasons that your stomach could be hurting, but there isn't enough detail to know what it is. Are you vomiting? Do you have Diarhea? What ever the stomach problem is, you need a Dr. Good Luck and I hope you feel better real soon.

I am not trying to knock the person above Me, however, given you are having stomach problems, I would hesitate to drink fruit juices do to the acids in them, they might be a little harsh on an upset stomach.
It sounds serious. So before reading anything on this page, immediately go to the Doctor.

Immediately!!!
may be you have stomach ulcer.get it checked.consume some soft diet slowly and drink lot of fresh fruit juice to get rid of hypoglycemic attacks.

Headlice??

i have a best friend and shes really pretty and nice and funny and everything just like the perfect friend. rly. but i sit behind her now in English class and ive noticed little bugs crawling round in her hair. I didnt know what they were at first so i confided in another 1 of our friends {i didnt tell her who had the bug, just described them} and she said it sound like nits, or 'headlice' as her lil BRO had them. my friend still doesn't know she has them but it is so gross when i sit behind her. there is like 5 crawling around her hair at 1 time. and once they were 2 on her jumper, really noticeable {we have maroon jumper} so they stuck out. sum1 else looked but didn't do anything. the other day i started scratching my head it was getting itchy. i bought a lice comb and went through my hair and found some of them bugs on the comb. i am really frustrated with my friend now and i dont know how to confront her or treat the nits. please help!!
Answer:
Buy some tea tree shampoo %26 conditioner and go through your hair. Shampoo it as normal but when applying the conditioner, leave it in your hair and use the comb to get the headlice out then, then wash your hair. Don't worry though, it's a common problem.
Also, your friend - tell her gently that you've heard rumours that she has nits in her hair and tell her how to treat them.

Hope this helped
gas and fire

need i say more
Talk to her where no one else will hear you ... its embarrasing but unfortuantely its one of those things that almost everyone gets at some point in their lives she may not know she has them my daughter got them because someone kept sending their child to school with them because its embarassing to call a school and tell them because they have to tell the WHOLE class because they do spread and quickly they are an easy enough problem to get rid of if you alert her immediately
I used to have lice when i was like 5. And, to tell you the truth. you can't see headlice without a flashlight, and you staring directly into her sclap. Anyway, if you want to know how to treat this i know the perfect solution. Crisco and Krosine, mix them together it will make a pink kinda fluffy look. Put it on your sclap and wrap a towl around it. This should burn all of the lice bugs and burn the babies its having, this really really really works. None of the treatments or shampoos i used, didn't really work. But if she tries this. She wont have any more bugs. I promise you that!

I really hope i helped.
To get rid of your "HeadLice" you could go to your nearest store such as Target of something like that.Go to the hair supplies section and you will find a bottle of the brand "RID" it works to.I had it and got rid of it by using RID.There are different kinds of shampoo for lice.Read the directions though.
Tell your friend that she should use a lice comb and go through her hair.Lice spreads really fast.Really really..
HAVE ONE OF YOUR PARENTS CALL THE SCHOOL AND TELL THEM YOUR FRIEND HAS LICE. YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE IN YOUR FAMILY NEED TO WASH YOUR HAIR IN LICE SHAMPOO, COMB EVERY NIT OUT, WASH ALL CLOTHING, VACUUM ALL FURNITURE AND SPRAY WITH LICE SPRAY, GET NEW COMBS AND BRUSHES OR BOIL THE ONES YOU HAVE, BOIL ALL HAIR ACCESSORIES, PUT WINTER COATS, PILLOWS AND OTHER STUFF THAT CAN'T BE WASH IN AN AIRTIGHT GARBAGE BAGS FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS. VACUUM OUT VEHICLE. TELL YOUR PARENTS THAT YOU HAVE IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. IT IS ALOT OF WORK TO GET RID OF THEM YOU WILL NEED HELP. REPEAT IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS
go to yr teacher and tell her that you found little bugs in yr hair and that you treated it but you think other kids might have it 2
and then the teacher will take all the kids in the classroom to the nurses office and everyone will be inspected
because theese bugs if you dont treat them they spread and anyone can have them
its verry important that you tell yr teacher

to treat the nits go to the pharmacy and ask someone they will surely know what to do
You should first go to Walgreen's are some where like that and get something for your hair to treat lice then you have to just tell her that you have been seeing them in her hair when your in class then remind her that her Lil brother did have them and she could have got them tell her you had to buy something for your hair if she would like to get some if she's a friend everything will be fine if not she wasn't your friend anyway and she is the one that gave them to you
The best way to get rid of Head lice is with a product from any pharmacy called titri oil (I think that's how it is spelled) (pronounced; tee-tree.) Just wash your hair a few times with it and they usually go. Make sure any clothing / bedding is changed so the bugs don't re-infect. What we did with our kids to prevent the problem arising from school contact is we added a few drops of titri oil into their shampoo to prevent the problem. Be aware that the product itself realy stinks but only when wet.
As for your friend, first you should let the teacher / school know. This is a very common hygiene issue in schools and the only way to rid it is for people to be aware it is a problem. Your friend needs to know, This is not likely something that she caused but came into contact without knowing.
there are many ways to get rid of your lice. you can go to walmart and get this shampoo that says RID on it. there are instructions on how to use it on the shampoo.on the instructions it will say to wash out and when you do you need to keep your head up and eyes closed cuz if it gets into ur eyes and can do some major damage! another way is mayonaise! yes, it actually works. you probably would use a whole jar if your hair is thick. you put the mayonaise all over your head and rub it in. you then cover it in wrap and wait for about 20 mins then you wash it out. i would consider using RID becouse the mayonaise leaves a nasty smell in your hair for about 1-2 days. now to deal with your friend. in class you should just be talking to her and then just say i think theres a bug in your hair. or you and your other friend should just tell her nicely and suggest what i just told you and be cool about it and dont freak out. hope it goes ok!
LOL! Keep your distance or else you'll have to shave your pubes.
She has to know! Tell about them. You could ask the teacher to do a lice check.
i've had lice before and heres how to get rid of them, you could get some karosean and put it in a spray bottle and spray your whole head and let sit for about 30 minutes depending how long your hair is or go to the store and find the kit for treating lice. You can find it in your drug store.Good luck
Tell her to goto drug store and you can buy meds to wash them away and it is over the counter.
1st get ur hair treated with medicare shampoo or licel.
2ndly being a TRUE FRIEND wouldnt u like to save ur friend the embarassment ,so just TELL HER UPFRONT that she has lice in her hair and she better get them removed.
she wont mind it cause shes ur best friend .
if you are really her friend-tell her.

Headaches with tampons?

I have never had headaches in my life, but I just realized that I seem to get a headache when I use a tampon for more than an hour. Is the tampon a cause, or am I just stressed more because I'm on my period and THAT's causing it?
Answer:
You might want to talk with your doctor before you continue using them. Headaches, while using tampons, are a sign of Toxic Shock Syndrome, a very serious and some times deadly problem. Be careful.
Toxic Shock!!!!!!!!
Just stressing from your period....
It may be a symptom of toxic shock, but if you are using them properly (changing them ontime and not wearing them overnight, etc) it is more likely the change in your body's hormone levels that causes the headaches during your periods. Lots of women have headaches associated with their cycle, even women who get migrains sometimes notice a relation to their cycle.
Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

Headaches and short period?

My cycles are usually 43 days. This month I started on the 41st day. Sorry for all the details I'm about to type about. I started Monday, but it wasn't as heavy as usual (usually I use up to 6 pads on the first day). Then on Tuesday I used only two pads. Wednesday and Thursday I used one panty liner each day, and the blood turned brown. Today I haven't had to use a pad and there's only brown blood when I wipe. I also have had headaches the past two nights and I've been nausiated the past week. I've also had tender breasts on and off for a little over 2 weeks now. What can be causing this? Then pregnancy test was negative on Friday of last week.
Answer:
id talk 2 ur doctor
I agree with kbeauty. To have your periods that far apart is not that common. What you are experiencing is spotting as your body does not have the correct level of hormones to make its mind up about whether to have them or not. This is the symptoms I had before I was diagnose with poly cyctic ovaries. Get to the doc ask for a blood test and possible unltrasound to check for cyst or anything else they look for. Treatment should be quite simple. The headaches you are getting are because your hormone levels are probably too low/high. Good luck, hope I helped.

Headache and nausea at night? I'm not pregnant...?

Every night i get nausea, sometimes with a bad headache [pain right at the temples]. I got a pregnancy test and it came back negative and i dont know what else it could be... its messing with my sleep, anyone know what this might be?
Answer:
It sounds like what I am dealing with now.
I went to the doctor... and I ended up having to get a CT.
My doctor gave me some migraine medicine. However, she asked if I was on BC... Since I am she (and other doctors) feel that the hormones maybe the reason I am getting the headaches.

Ibuprofen works well for the pain... and just going to sleep. If you become sensitive to light or sound... Or have a stiff neck with the headache and nausea you maybe having migraines.
Sinus pressure might do that.
It sounds like a migrane. Get your symptons treated at the chiropractor.
consult a neurologist please

Having discharge?

is it normal to have discharge when your period is a week away?
Answer:
Yes, it is normal to have discharge throughout your cycle. It should never be off-colored or have a strong odor though.
well you might wantt to tlak to your docotr you may have a yeast infection... if your itchy... and its whitish discharge.. if not you should be fine
Yes. Discharge usually increases 1-2 wks before your period. It has something to do with ovulation. So it's normal; don't worry.
discharges are not normal
Completly. i get it too. sometimes i get it after my period also..
im pretty sure that all girls have discharge
Yes it is normal to have a discharge every day its natural.

Having a problem with my menstrual cycle. What is happening?

A little over a month ago I though I was pregnant because I had no period at all. Finally, 2 weeks later it came and was very heavy. I am on my period again and it is way too soon because I just had my last one 10 days ago. It is also very heavy and clots. I'm 30. My cycles for the most part are normal. What is going on with me? Am I hitting menopause? I have never had any children.
Answer:
Two possibilities come to mind. You could have endometriosis or uterine fibroids. Both can cause irregular periods, and endo can especially cause heavy, clotty periods. Talk to your gynecologist about what's going on. The treatment will vary depending on his/her diagnosis.
Go to the doctor, for gods sake your 30.....you should know your cycle by now.
Honestly I am not sure, but I would strongly advise you to contact your doctor and set up an appointment ASAP. If you know this is not normal for you, and you are not sure what is wrong, call your doctor.
You could be suffering a miscarriage, you could be hitting menopause - though this young it is rare, you could have another underlying problem, your cycle could be changing due to stress, change in environment, change in diet, change in activity...

Best go to your gyno JUST to be on the safe side.
Pls see your dr to have this checked out to see if a possible hormone imbalance could possibly be causing this.

Have you seen girls snoring?

i've not
Answer:

Yep, guilty Im afraid! I snore, only sometimes though!
I DO - female

Have you had a breast reduction? If so, did you recover quickly?

I am considering having it done. Your imput is greatly appreciated. I need this surgery really bad...
Answer:
You would be out of work for two weeks, more if you are in an active job position. You should not do any heavy lifting pulling or pushing for about a month. Your final size and scarring takes about a year to come about. It did not hurt one bit for me. It was slightly uncomfortable but no pain.

See at least three Plastic surgeons. Look for those covered under your insurance plan FIRST. MY insurance paid 100%, but most pay anywhere from 60-100%. Make sure you look at PS's before and after pictures and ask a LOT of questions (you'll find a forum and a post that shows what questions to ask in the link below).

Do what your PS tells you to do when he tells you to. If you have any questions or concerns call your PS right away as he is being paid to take care of you. DO NOT overdo it after surgery.

I had it done one year ago tomorrow. It is SO worth it.

A site that helped me out a LOT is http://www.breasthealthonline.com...
I had one when I was 18 years old. I am not going to lie it hurt. It took about a month to recover completely but the pain went away in about two weeks. Looking back on it, it was worth all of the pain. I am soo happy that I did it.

Have you every tried standing up and peeing Girls?

Answer:
This can be done. Just stand up and pull the skin above the pee hole upward and you can pee like a man I did it when I was little. I bet all of you will try this to see if it works.
It's a little early to be that drunk.
yea.. but then again it was in the shower.
no, that's gross and weird.
Only leaning against a tree when it was absolutely necessary. Very messy.
HAHAHAHAHA...you're funny!

Of course I have, when I was like 5 (older brother)

The funny thing is, a group of friends and I were talking about this and they laughed at me because I had done that before. None of them grew up with a brother though....how funny.
not really i dont think there is a spout so that you could pee correctly, but your welcome to try... if your looking to shake it up just try the hover method, thats challanging enough.. good luck
You can do it with the tube in the middle of toilet paper. I was like five and I had lots of brothers.
ummm a friend of mine has.
no but i have thought about trying
Why would you when you can sit
yeah
when i dont wanna sit on the toliet seat
actually it aint standing
its squating
but i am still on my feet

acctually i definitly tried when i was 5 years old

Have you ever started your period or leaked at.....?

1)church
2)school
3)date
4)other
Answer:

Have you ever started spotting or bleeding at the wrong time due to stress or anger or irritation?

Answer:
yes. When I was taking my PHD qualifying exams, I was on my period for months.
When I was getting married and planning for my wedding, the same thing happened, which was very inconvenient.
When I switched jobs, the same thing happened again...
yes.

it happens a lot to me actually.

it's totally normal.
but if you feel like it's not, you can always go see your doctor. :)

Have you ever known or heard of somebody who has an intense craving to sniff mothballs?

I'm serious. It's interfering in her life. Luckily she hasn't done it yet though. I'm trying to help her.
Answer:
Strangely, mothball abuse is a very common thing. It's also very dangerous. Read the facts so you can be better informed and keep your friend from doing this.

Have you asked her how she plans on getting their little legs apart?

Have you ever had an IUD?

I got an IUD put in on March 1st. I am still bleeding! Is this normal? How long should I expect to bleed for?
Answer:
I have the Mirena. When I first had it placed I had more days of spotting (light bleeding) then not. I have had it for 8 months and it has finally settled in and I have about a week of spotting now. I don't have painful heavy periods any more.
hey i got one on like feb 12th and im still bleeding alot
no but i did get a DUI. sorry. hope you're okay.
are you talking about an Interesting Ugly Date? I went on one long ago, when we kissed she bit my lip,I too bled,no it was not normal.
No, but I know friends who have. I think some bleeding is normal but if it continues; check with your doctor. Don't let it go on too long. They can tell you over the phone if it is supposed to be.
No, dangerous, please report immediately in ER and call a Gynecologist.
Get off this vacuum tube in your own interest.
Yes it can be normal. It shouldn't be heavy bleeding, though. Do you have the copper IUD? That one tends to cause irregular bleeding in some women. Are you sure it's not your period? IUDs sometimes cause longer periods and heavier bleeding, especially during the first 3 months.

These are the warning symptoms:
Late or missed period.
Abdominal pain.
Fever or chills.
Increased or foul-smelling vaginal discharge.

If you're concerned, give your doc office a call. They won't mind answering your questions! Good luck!
I had one. I didn't have a lot of bleeding after it was put in, just a little spotting for a couple of days. (but it did fall out so make sure you check yours as your doctor should have told you to make sure it is still in place).

I have had both a copper and a Mirena. The copper made my periods last twice as long as they were before. The Mirena was great until it fell out.

Have you ever had a mammogram? What was your experience like?

I'm a medical radiation technologist who is currently studying mammography and I need some help with a few of my assignments. These assignments are basically interviews so if you are a woman who has had a mammogram in the past and have a few minutes to answer all or some of these questions it would be appericiated.
Thanks
Your age? Had a previous exam?
Were you nervous? Why?
How was your overall experience? Negative aspects (cold room, long wait, professional atmosphere, etc.)? Positive aspects (comfortable environment, good staff, etc.)?
How did you prepare for your exam (read online, speak with friends)?
Was there anything the technologist did you made you feel more comfortable/uncomfortable?
After you exam how did you feel?
Did you feel different after you exam than you did when you arrived?
Can you offer any suggestions to make your next experience better?
Overall, how do you feel about mammography?

Thanks for all your help.
Answer:
I have a screening mammogram every year. It's a provincial program here.

I'm 53 now, and had my first one 4 years ago.

I wasn't nervous. Then again, I'm a "matter of fact" type of person, and I never bothered to have packages of pads or tampons double-bagged.

My first two were horrible. It was a small room and the machine doesn't adjust. I have multiple types of arthritis and that doesn't help. In fact, when I had my first one done, my right shoulder was in such bad shape that getting my right arm just so on the machine was much, much worse than the mammogram itself. My most recent one was entirely different, and I'll never again go anywhere else. It's a centre that does just mammograms, with machines that adjust the plate height to each woman. The aisles were wide, the changing rooms included rooms that are wheelchair accessible (I now use a walker to get around) and the waiting areas were comfortable and cheerful.

The nurse and the tech at that last centre made me feel very comfortable, The ones before that, not so much.

I did nothing ahead of time to prepare myself. Que sera, sera.

After the exam, I feel bruised for a day or two, of course. How can you not feel bruised. But after the few few, I was also left in bad flares. Having that adjustable machine is so very, very helpful that I actually recommend that site to other women.

Suggestions - every place that does mammograms should be like that last one that I went to. And since I'm enrolled in my provincial program, I no longer need referrals for mammograms. I get a letter every year advising me of my appointment date and time, and if I have a conflict, I simply call to rearrange that appointment. For an exam that is inherently uncomfortable, that's a comfortable as it can be.

That last clinic was the first location on the list that I've included.

And thank you for taking an interest.
Yes, I have had one They are cold when they put you on the machine but you get in %26 out fast It's nothing I wouldn't worry It's not a big deal
It was awful. Cold room, unpersonable people and then they squashed my breast between two encylopidias (felt like that anyway) with just a pat on the back and a good luck.

Unless there is a problem, I do not plan on doing this procedure on a regular basis. There has to be an easier way.
i'm 19 years old, ive never had a mamography but I often worry about that stuff i think it must be relly uncomfortable to be exposing ur breasts in front of a person u dont even know, plus doctors often treat people like if they weren麓t ,
I think that having the mammogram is so very important that a little coldness or slight pressure should not keep anyone from having it. If you experience any bad effects, tell the technician and let them correct.. They are not mind readers. Usually they will tell you ahead of time that you may experience some of the above, so you should be prepared. I have had many mammograms and never had a bad experience.
Yes, I have had several since I was 36.

My last mammo was in October of 2006. I go every October. It's part of my annual Gyn checkup. The answers I put here are from the October 2006 mammogram.

I am 44. Yes, to previous Gyn exam.

I was not nervous because I knew what to expect.

Overall experience:
Negative: This particular tech (I went at night this time, instead of daytime) was not as nice as previous techs and was a bit rough with the plates. I had a mark on one breast for five days after this mammo. I never had a mark after previous mammos.
Positive: Good atmospshere and people, quick service, comfortable environment.

How did you prepare for your exam (read online, speak with friends)?
I knew what to expect and did not do anything really, except not put any deodorant, powder, nor lotion in the area as instructed.

Was there anything the technologist did you made you feel more comfortable/uncomfortable?
Past techs have always talked me through it even though I have been there before and tried to make me feel more comfortable (even though it isn't), but this tech did not do that. She only went through the motions with placing me in the machine without saying a word.

After you exam how did you feel?
I was glad it was over with.

Did you feel different after you exam than you did when you arrived? I was peeved at the tech.

Can you offer any suggestions to make your next experience better?
The techs should always be gentle as possible with the plates on the machine and talk you through it whether it's your first mammo or your fifteenth.

Overall, how do you feel about mammography?
The ten minutes of discomfort every year are worth it when you find out you don't have any signs of breast cancer. I will continue to get a mammogram every year.

You're welcome. :)
32_ yes_ Yes_1st time_OK_Discomfort/ cold room_Good technician and staff_ Gynecologist _talked throughout the procedure so everything was comfortable_ Felt a little compressed:p_ No not really...You are as much involved as too how everything goes as they are, so... speak up_ Ain't technology great!!
Age: 41

First mammogram: last year

Nervous: Before going, I wasn't nervous. But when I had a call on my voice mail the next day recommending more tests, yes, I got nervous. I tried to call back, but the clinic was closed for the day. A very kind, on-call nurse at the hospital was sympathetic about my anxiety. She called the radiologist at home and asked her to call me back. I was relieved and got a decent night sleep once I could talk about the follow-up test. Thankfully, the follow-up mammogram and ultrasound showed the mass just to be a wayward lymph node.

Negative aspects: The only negative was leaving a message on my voice mail. This non-descript message allowed my imagination to get the best of me and scared me more than knowing what was going on.

Positive aspects: The technicians were all really friendly. We even joked a bit. They were prompt, professional and even put heating pads on the machine to warm it up.

Preparation: I am quite proactive about health issues, so I had already spoken to my physician about the mammogram. Additionally, I read online about the process. I felt well-informed and knew what to expect.

Although there were a few nervous moments before I got the results that the mass was nothing to worry about - it was generally a positive experience. The personality of the technicians made all the difference! They were warm, sympathetic and funny. The only thing I'd suggest is not leave messages on a voice mail. As soon as a patient hears the message (especially the same day as the mammogram), she is going to think the worst. At least don't call at the very end of the day when the patient won't have a chance to return the call before the clinic closes. It would have definitely been a very long sleepless night if they hadn't called me back.

I will continue to get mammograms - they're important and not that big of a deal (assuming you have the all-clear)
I had my very first mammogram when I was 26 and the reason I did was because of some breast pain I was having. Problem was that the dr I had at the time didn't understand that you don't do a mammogram on a 26 year old woman.

The test itself did not hurt during because of the fact that I slid the rest of my body down so that there wouldn't be so much pressure from the part of the exam where the breast is flattened out.

I was a bit nervous going in to this test and I ended up having the pain in my breast hurt more afterward and also had some burning there. The reason I was a bit nervous was b/c it was my first ever mammogram.

My overall experience was very good and did not have a super long wait and got out rather quickly as well. My mom was the one who helped me prepare for it and that helped a lot.

If mammography must be done on a younger woman I think that there should be an easier way to get the results without causing a lot of possible pain.

As for how I feel about mammogram overall I think that they are a lifesaver for women over 50 and anyone younger if they can find a better way to do it for us. I'm 35 now.

Have you ever been raped and the footage was posted on the internet?

Have you ever been stalked? Raped? How do you heal?
Answer:
time and therapy...
the pain will fade
Raped twice - but before the Internet was easily accessed. You need to get into therapy an talk this out. Time makes the pain distance (not healed)
Don't you have any other idea to ask about? C'mon. . . could you please have some decency and ask better questions next time?!!

HAVE I GOT MY PERIOD???

i havn't had my period yet im under 12 and there is this white dry stuff in my undies. what is it?

ONLY NURSES DOCTORS OR LADYS. NO MEN!!
Answer:
Hey! I know what you are going through! I was so scared about when I would start my period. Anyway, before you actually start your period, your other female parts have to finish maturing. Most girls will have a clear or white discharge for some time (different for different girls...some have it for a few weeks or months. As far as it being "stinky", a little bit is normal....your nose just isn't used to it yet, and it is a little stronger smelling in girls before they start their period. If it smells worse or gets heavier and you are having other symptoms down there, let your mom know. Often the discharge will kinda have its own cycle, just like your period will when you do start). If you also have grown hair "down there" and you are having this discharge, it sounds like your body is almost ready! You might want to talk to your mom or a trusted adult female friend and get some supplies. That way, if you start for the first time at school, you will have something and won't be in an embarrasing situation. Oh, one more thing...I suggest starting out with pads, not tampons. They are fine for later on, but your flow will be irregular at first, so just stick with the pads! I prefer the thin ones with "wings". Good luck!
It's just a discharge we all get it.
Stinky dosent sound good, I really think you should tell your mum, it could be thrush or an infection either of which can produce an offensive discharge and both of which are possible even if you are 12.
